Web1 jan. 2016 · Sorry to bring this old thread up but I am having this "Trunk Open" warning. My car, F55 S, is 5 days old in my possession and I did not have this problem on day 1 and 2. When I got this warning first time, I got out and checked out the hatch but it was not open. I even had to press and hold the hatch open button on the fob to open it. WebRemoval Procedure. Web29 mei 2024 · We also has problem with 2024 Ford Edge Titanium powe hatch. Closed would not open, it wold try to open, but acted like it was latched. Scrolled on dash for vehicle menu setting for vehicle powerliftgate. Disabled switch then renabled switch. Seems to be working alright for now. The other thing that could cause it is a bad solenoid as that also seals the system so the tailgate cylinder holds in place.
